Washington and Lee University signs 450 kW solar PPA

We’re honored that Washington and Lee University (W&L) has chosen Secure Futures to develop, own and operate its signature 450 kW solar arrays under a 20 year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).  The project includes a 120 kW solar array on a steel canopy structure over the parking deck, and another 330 kW solar array on the Law School (Lewis Hall) roof.  Once completed this December, this will represent the largest solar installation in Virginia, following the lead  of Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) in its 104 kW solar PPA and installation with Secure Futures in 2010.  More details can be found on the attached poster presentation.
